A platform for jobseekers and employers to engage has been developed: "Mafube Employment Desk"
Mafube Business Forum (MBF) has launched an employment desk. A platform which job seekers and employers can utilise. It will announce available jobs and have a list of candidates available. On another level, the program will aim to equip youth and those interested with skills and knowledge to compete in the modern workforce.
Objectives and action plan:
Employment opportunities: The Employment Desk will work with local businesses to identify employment opportunities that can be offered to young people and jobseekers in the community. The program will also work with employers to provide training and mentoring opportunities to young people to increase their chances of securing long-term employment.
Skills and knowledge: The program will provide training and mentoring to young people to equip them with the skills and knowledge they need to succeed in the modern workforce. This will include training on job search techniques, resume writing, interview preparation, communication skills and other critical skills needed to succeed in the workforce.
Entrepreneurship: The program will provide resources and support to young people who want to start their own businesses. This will include business planning, access to funding and mentoring to help young entrepreneurs succeed.
Access to funding: The program will facilitate access to financial institutions that facilitate access to funding, for young people who want to start their own businesses.
Register now as a job seeker, there are no costs involved.
