Dear residents, business owners and ratepayers of Mafube. It is with disappointment that we hereby inform you, that Mafube Local Municipality, the Department of Cooperative Governance, and Treasury, as we suspected, have not honoured their commitment; and have failed to sign the "Stakeholder's Compact" as we had hoped. We are therefore prepared and forced to engage in more drastic measures which might include legal action. Be assured that we have, and will continue to act responsibly, in the best interest of our community, and will keep you informed of any new developments. Be also assured that the next steps and options which we are already prepared for will be discussed in a general mafube residetial meeting very soon.
