As reflected in the joint statement of 26 Aug 2022, everything was in order and the community could look forward to cooperation between MBF and the municipality under your leadership, to collect and protect income. At your request, MBF organized a meeting with the Premier and her EXCO and traveled to Bloemfontein to attend. Since that meeting, you have not once communicated with MBF and have not once responded to requests from MBF to meet with you. It appears that months of discussions and hard work to find a workable solution have now been set aside, without any reasons provided by the intervention team.
Why did the intervention team change its mind so suddenly?
Why was none of this communicated to MBF? Was it due to political interference?
