[To Mr Mkaza] You will remember, an agreement that was signed between MBF and the intervention team with the aim of ensuring the following: a.) Corruption-free service delivery i.e. transparent accounting of cash b.) Financially sustainable and functional municipality and c.) Affordable and efficient service delivery by local municipality. It was unanimously accepted by the Council and approved by the provincial EXCO.
Why does the intervention team disregard this agreement? Why was no notice given to MBF of this? Why is the intervention team not moving forward, with transparency and community involvement, with the actions agreed upon?
